Today, I fall short of words to express my indebtedness towards Sriram Academy for leaving an indelible imprint on my academic life. |
Without the expert guidance of the teachers at Sriram Academy, being in the top-5 in HSEE 2011 would have been much tougher for me. The Sriram experience played a significant role in boosting my morale and confidence. I enjoyed every class I attended, especially Economics and History.
Going to Chennai from Assam, and staying there for almost a month was nothing less than a challenge for me. But not even once did I hesitate to embark on my academic quest because I knew that a journey to the land of scholars like Sir C.V. Raman and Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan could never go in vain.

I thank SRIRAM for without your coaching, I wouldn't have made it to the IIT. I took SRIRAM TARGET PLUS course during my Plus Two days. So, I had an idea of what to expect in the exam early on. Thus I was able to gather information from various books and magazines for two years. Still, I had a doubt in my mathematical ability as I was a Humanities student. But, by the end of the SRIRAM INTENSIVE course, I was very confident of the Quantitative Aptitude part in the exam. I found the Tips on Essay Writing quite useful.

Also, many of the points discussed during these sessions helped while writing the essay. For me, Sriram materials were really useful even when preparing for EFLU test and CUCET. I think one has to go through SRIRAM coaching if he/ she plans to attempt any competitive exam. Thank you SRIRAM ACADEMY.

I had enrolled for the 40 day crash course with SRIRAM, after my board exams were over. The study material provided by SRIRAM was excellent and proved really helpful for the HSEE 2008 exam. I found the GK book and the Economics, History and Sociology book to be the most helpful. It was also really easy to study, as the books were very user friendly, with large print and information arranged in neat tables which were easier to remember. The teaching staff at SRIRAM were excellent!!! I have to extend special gratitude to Mrs. Hemachari, as I am not an Economics student, and it was only due to her help that I was able to attempt many of the Economics questions in the HSEE 2008. Also, the Math classes conducted by Mrs. Jayanthi were really helpful, as she provided us with many easy to study tips and shortcut formulae in Math. After the course was over, we had a series of 6 to 7 mock tests. These were extremely useful, as they showed the students how they compared to one another, and what topics might be more important than the others. SRIRAM also provided the IIT aspirants with online mock tests, which were also really helpful, as were the regular updates of current affairs and general knowledge on the SRIRAM website.
All in all, the help offered to me by the SRIRAM team was invaluable and once again, thank you so much for all the support and guidance!!!

I feel privileged to be a part of SRIRAM ACADEMY....
My journey with Sriram Academy began in September 2007 when I chanced upon the website online. Sriram Target - the online postal coaching- helped me kick start my preparation in a systematic way. All the course material adhered to the exam syllabus provided by the IIT and those in History, Sociology, Economics and Environment also provided us with important additional information that proved useful for the examination. In fact, it was through Prof.Raman and his team that I got to know of the exact nature of the MA course and the opportunities ahead.

1 April '08 - the day after my CBSE board exams- onwards I attended SRIRAM Intensive- the 40 day classroom coaching in Ernakulam. The syllabus was tackled subject-wise and the faculty was the same as that in the Chennai branch. All the teachers knew their subjects inside out, were passionate about it and taught it in the best way possible so that at the end of each subject's coaching we were compelled to say "Nobody could have taught us this subject better than the faculty at SRIRAM." The classroom lectures were far from "lectures" - the very term implying a dry, boring format where the teacher drones on and the students sleep. On the contrary, the sessions were most interesting and interactive without ever digressing from the subject at hand. They were educational to the highest degree possible.
In addition to cracking the HSEE, I really do feel I have gained that "extra" something from my time at SRIRAM. I have learnt not only the "what" of studying but also the "how" of preparing for a competitive examination. The many mock exams helped me identify my strong and weak areas and taught me objective self-evaluation. My English and GK have certainly improved, I find myself instinctively reaching out for the "Brain Teasers" section in newspapers (an effect of the Logic and Reasoning sessions) and I'm no longer afraid of Maths.
I feel privileged to be a part of SRIRAM ACADEMY and would recommend it to anyone preparing for this exam. The personal nature of the coaching assured me that I was not just "another brick in the wall". My parents and I are extremely grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Raman and the entire SRIRAM team for all their support, timely help and encouragement.

I took the online coaching with Sriram Academy from February 2008 onwards. I looked up Sriram Academy in the net. The site was very impressive and it became apparent from the very beginning that I would be in good hands if I signed in for the course. Living in Madurai, I had no option but to go in for online coaching. |
The material that arrived was very thorough, I felt. Particularly, the books on History, Ecology, Sociology, and General Knowledge greatly helped. I was preparing, but i wasn't fully confident about my preparation. Then the online material started coming in. I think that the current updates were very useful. It also gave me a feel as to what kind of extra preparation I would have to do.
The mock papers were the most useful part of the preparation. They showed me exactly where I stood, which weaknesses I would have to rectify, and what were my strengths. After tackling about 10 mock papers, I was reasonably confident. Your last mail tips on how to tackle the paper were also extremely useful. I followed those instructions to boot and found that they were real time-savers. I was able to complete the exam properly and to my satisfaction.
